Tariff-Group Classification
In the past, tariff-group systems – based on the considerations according to Refa – were primarily oriented to a summary assessment of requirements.
However, after many years of the application of primarily analytical Job Grading processes for the analysis of requirements for jobs on the non-tariff and management levels, the analytical Baumgartner & Partner Job Grading processes are also being increasingly applied to the tariff level.
An initial impulse for the promotion the mapping of analytic processes (also in tariff-based plants) came about as a result of the Framework Agreement on Compensation for the metalworking and electrical industry (referred to as ERA) which cites in some tariff regions an autonomous but to some extent drastically shortened analytic valuation process to assess jobs.
This impulse led to many companies – even from other sectors and across all tariffs - applying the Job Grading system developed by Baumgartner & Partner to critically re-examine their own grouping practises. Baumgartner & Partner also has a target grouping guide and/or a transition from one's own Job Grading on the tariff groups for nearly all sectors.
Baumgartner & Partner will assist your company in the setup of your own internal pay- scale agreement - or in the consistent reorganisation of your grouping practises, even beyond vested rights. These analyses are complemented by our salary databases at Compensation-Online.de.
